Washing
I am washing our cloths mostly Glens dirty socks that will be hung out to dry on our little tent.  I have to say they will not look very clean but they will at least smell a little better!!  In that moment came the realization that I was enjoying this very mundane task.  Perhaps the slow plodding of the horses all day or the complete lack  of schedule and such has precipitated this.   Its all been said before about the Zen of this or that, the need to be in the moment and we read it, understand it, and then go on about our very busy lives.  There is no need to preach this anymore.  There is of course the need to live in the world that we have created as a society.  But is it possible to balance it all  and live with less? Easier said than done.  Keep in mind the rat race that makes us go crazy and divorces our selves from the moment also enabled me the purchasing power to do exactly what I am doing right now.   Without judgement of right or wrong in our current social structure i hope to make a few adjustments that will bring more balance.   Here are some suggestions,  get off the net, get off the phone, get away from the TV and the bombardment of all the advertisement that subconsciously tells us how to function and go next door and visit with your neighbor,  Determine to live out of love and not fear and clearly watch for the differences.   Simple stuff really and you don't have to wash Glenns filthy socks to get it!!

I've enjoyed several of your posts Randy.  You have a very nice writing style.  I particularly enjoyed the simple truths in this blog.

Curious how such a feeling can be ignited by such a simple task. This simple post inspired me to join.
